The class will be taught by the nationally recognized instructor, Will Decker, who has written state approved Continuing Education courses for Illinois, Wisconsin, Indiana, Tennessee, Texas and Montana.

Course Description:

This is a survey course to familiarize home inspectors with this new, non-destructive testing technology and its applications for building and home inspection.  The course is not intended to cover the entire field of thermal imaging, nor to substitute for professional Level I or Building Science thermographer certification, but merely to help home inspectors understand the basic principals, applications and importance (and limitations) of this technology.

This course is expected to serve as the beginning sequence for a national Home Inspector Certification in Building Science, coming later this year.

The course will be offered on a first-come, first served basis and registration at the door cannot be guaranteed, given space constraints.

NACHI members will be required to provide their NACHI membership number before the course.
